| School is almost over. I month till graduation. Four years flew by just like that. Anyways, I still haven't heard from law schools yet. Well, thats kind of my fault, I shouldn't have submitted my apps on the deadlines. Oh well. I got a little over a week before I head to Indiana. The Collegiate national weightlifting chamionships are over there. This will be my first meet in four years. My last meet was at the 2002 National Junior Championships. That was the first meet I ever bombed in (bombing is where you dont make a lift in either the snatch or clean and jerk). Hopefully it doesnt happen at collegiates. I am aiming for a 110 kg snatch (242 lbs) and a 140 kg clean and jerk (308 lbs.). If I make those lifts, I will be very pleased. I am also lifting in a weight class I am not accustomed to. I usually lift in the 105 kg class, but I am lifting in the 105 kg+ class. Hoepfully by next year, I will be in the 105 kg class once again. One more week of hard training before the big show.

| Class has officially started. This day marks the first day of my last semester here at UT. Winter break has come and gone. Didn't do too much over the break. Just worked half the time at my parents store and hung out with old friends. Looking back, my college years seemed to fly by quickly. One more semester left; got to party hard and finish strong.

| Wow, its almost been six months since I updated my xanga. Well, I have been pretty busy. This semester is coming to an end. Finals are coming up and the holidays are around. Got two finals to study for, which isn't bad. Just to let ya'll know, I GOT ROSE BOWL TICKETS. Cali here I come!!!! This trip is going to be off the chain. I don't know how many BME people are going, but nonetheless whoever goes, its going to be a hell of a time. Mark and I are going to drive up to Cali. On the way up there, we are going to hit up Vegas and then party it up in Cali.We gots to show how dem Texas boys party. On the way back, I will hit up Colorado Springs to drop off Mark back at the Academy and then back to Texas. Its going to be a hella long trip, but well worth it. Time for me to go back to studying. I leave you a little Christmas tune, in spirit of the holidays.

| As usual, I haven't updated my xanga in months. This past weekend was
pretty crazy. I had three high school friends that came into
austin.Sean came in friday night and stayed till sunday. My friend Mark
from the Air Force Academy came into to town on Saturday. I had
to show both of them what 6th street is all about. Then my friend Jaybe
came in from Ft.Worth came in on sunday and I took him out to 6th to
celebrate his belated bday. This entire weekend pretty much consisted
of drinking. Mark and I got pretty throwed, but Irvin was worst
than the both of us. That five star general tore him up.
Summer is well more than halfway thru and my last year in College is
upon me. So far, this summer has consisted of working out, going
to class, and studying for the LSAT in October. As you can tell, I
decided to go to law school. Maybe I will write an explnation in why I
decided to go to law school in another entry. But my goal is to get at
least a 165 on this upcoming LSAT. I really don't have anything else
planned for the rest of the summer except for the same routine I have
been doing. Hopefully I'll be able to do something cool in the time
between after summer school is done and the fall semester starts. Maybe
I'll even update my xanga more often.

| Yeah, I am really bad at updating my xanga. Nobody cares. I dont think anyone reads it.
Anyways, this semester has going pretty smoothly. Unlike last semester, this semester doesn't seem as hard. Instead of just being academically busy this semester, I have also been busy with Taekwondo. This year, The UT WTF Taekwondo club will be sending competitors to the National Collegiate tournament coming up in April. This is the first time since 2001 since anybody has represented UT. Yours truly will be competing, along with other black belts. I am glad I am competing in this tournament. Competing has been one thing missing in my life since I have entered college. Ever since I was little and until the end of high school I have competed in numerous things such as taekwondo, weightlifting, football, and track and field. Just having that feeling that you are training hard for something and competing on a national scale is very releiving and nostalgic. Competing in general has given back to me the excitment and adrenaline rush that I always sought. I am definatley looking forward in heading out to Berkeley California this April.
On another note, my best friend from Texas Tech will be visiting this weekend. This should be tight.
Two more weeks until a much needed spring break. Only two tests stand in my way. Irv is going to get so throwed on his birthday during the break. Its going to be glorious. | | |
